Exact time with seconds in Ethiopia and timezones

Ethiopia currently has two major time zones. These are Ethiopa Time (EAT) which is GMT +3 and Central Daylight Time (GMT +3) which corresponds to Central European Summer Time (CEST). Ethiopia Time is the default time zone for Ethiopia and is used by the vast majority of the population. It is also the standard time zone for Eastern Africa.

Most of Ethiopia's major cities and towns operate on Ethiopia Time. The exceptions are the capital city of Addis Ababa and the western town of Bishoftu which use Central Daylight Time. Ethiopia Standard Time is observed by the Eastern Ethiopian provinces of Tigray and Afar.
