France is officially located in one time zone, Central European Time (CET). However, since 1968, France has observed Daylight Saving Time (DST), when clocks are advanced by one hour from CET. During the summer months, France is in Central European Summer Time (CEST) until early November, when it returns to CET. France's overseas territories in different time zones: French Guiana is UTC−03:00, Martinique and Guadeloupe are Atlantic Standard Time (AST) or UTC−04:00, and Réunion, Mayotte, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, and French Polynesia are in UTC+12:00.
