Israel's time zone isIsrael Standard Time (IST), which is two hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+2). IST is the same as Eastern European Time (EET). The time zone is also operated during Daylight Savings Time (DST), during which clocks are advanced one hour to Israel Daylight Time (IDT).

Israel does not observe Daylight Savings Time during the winter months; its clocks remain the same all year. This means that during the summer months, when the rest of Europe is observing DST, Israel's time zone is two hours ahead of UTC+2.
