Exact time with seconds in New Zealand and timezones

New Zealand consists of two time zones: New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) and New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT). NZST is twelve hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+12) and NZDT is thirteen hours ahead of UT (UTC+13).

New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT) is only observed during the summer months when Daylight Saving Time is in effect. The period for which it is observed begins on the last Sunday in September and ends on the first Sunday of April, at which point NZST takes over again.

Both NZST and NZDT use the same time zone for their offset from UTC, but the difference is due to Daylight Saving Time.
