The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is located in the Indochina Time Zone, also known as Indochina Time (ICT). This is seven hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+7). There are no daylight saving time zones in use in Vietnam.
Vietnam is one hour ahead of Thailand, and one hour behind China and Hong Kong. During the summer, as Thailand, China and Hong Kong all observe daylight saving time, the time difference between Vietnam and these countries increases to two hours.
