South Africa has two timezones, South African Standard Time (SAST) and South African Daylight Time (SADT). SAST is 2 hours ahead of UTC/GMT and SADT is 1 hour ahead of UTC/GMT. During the months of October until the end of March, South Africa utilizes SADT and then switches back to SAST for the remainder of the year.
