Algeria uses Central European Time (CET) as its official time zone. CET is one hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Algerians also observe Daylight Saving Time from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. During this period, clocks are moved forward by one hour to CET+1, also known as Central European Summer Time (CEST).
